To Flåm and back again

As Frodo said, "You step into the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to." Today was a day for adventures close to Flåm. We took the scenic Flåmsbana railway to Myrdal and back. Then after lunch the ferry from Flåm down the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen with a quick shuttle bus ride back to Flåm. We fortunately had much better weather than yesterday. After dinner we drove to Stegastein Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the fjord. Then we made a visit to the charming Flåm Kyrkje.Weiterlesen
