Bay of Islands canceled; day at sea

Unfortunately, our visit to the Bay of Islands was canceled due to the threat of stormy weather later in the day. Heavy rain and wind gusts of 40 knots would have made the journey ashore by tender too dangerous. We entered the bay briefly and cruises around but then returned to sea. It's disappointing, but hopefully the weather will be more cooperative at other ports.Read more
