The mass ascension was canceled this morning due to high winds. Even so, we saw a beautiful sunrise over the Sandia Mountains and enjoyed a delicious southwest breakfast at The Owl.

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center was filled with beautiful arts and crafts from the 19 pueblos of New Mexico. The dancers were amazing!
ABQ BioPark Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Gardens were a beautiful oasis in the heart of Albuquerque. We enjoyed walking through the cool of the gardens and seeing various crafts and performers for their fall festival.

We got up before dawn and drove to a neighborhood park to view the mass ascension. At first, there were only a few balloons, but pretty soon they filled the sky!
