More art on Naoshima Island

During our adventure, we noticed that many people in rural areas are older and that many traditional houses are being abandoned (we learned that inheritance tax is high in Japan).
On Naoshima Island, the “Art House Project” involves the restoration of vacant houses and the transformation of these houses into artworks by artists. Very cool idea that attracts a lot of tourists and brings new life/business opportunities to the small community.Baca lagi
