Romania 2018 The beginning

By our superior smarts or blind luck , we left the major highway just before border and wound back thru small towns to a small border crossing with one guard, he sent us off the side and went into his shack and looked at vehicle registration and our passports after about ten minutes he came back to van stuck paperwork in the window and said bye bye. Off we went back to interstate, then after a bit this very nice interstate stopped at a mountain and the goat trail trek over the hill ensued , if u have never done it there is no possible way to describe driving over a mountain on a goat trail in an 18 foot van being pushed by the locals, no restrooms, u go flying by folks taking care business on roads edge, what a ride, we made it over and back on interstate needed a break, pic is from porch were we stopped for lunch. All I thought going over the mountain (I drove) was oh my gosh we gotta do this again in 13 days. On to the next goat trail we go.
