Pleasant ride across Ipswich to Martin and Giovanna’s house.

Goodbye to Martin and Giovanna. Good company, food and competitive lawn games.
Picked up NCR 1 which took us out of Ipswich to Woodbridge for coffee and flapjack.

Cycling without luggage today. Norman church in Bramfield with lookout tower in the grounds.
Just outside was another ”crinkle crankle” wall, nicely maintained.

Change of route, diverting to the coast and Lowestoft to take the train on to Norwich. Avoids a long, cross country trawl.

Overcast all day and slightly damp at times.
Train from Norwich on the Bittern line to Sherimgham. Walked on cliff path and beach to Cromer where we had crab sandwiches for lunch.

40 mile ride to Bury St Edmunds just staying ahead of thunder clouds. They broke as we arrived at the Dog & Partridge (which promptly flooded).Les mer
Morning spent at the Moyae museum - small footprint but interesting exhibitions over three floors.
Afternoon mostly spent on a guided walk around the towns many historic buildings.
