Lunch at Bow Falls

We got elk burgers from Eddie's Burger Bar and ate them by Bow Falls. With views like this, it's hard to miss eating in restaurants.

Cave and Basin NHS

The Cave is still closed due to COVID19, but we still took a wander through the "Basin", which is where people used to be able to swimming. The water there is now protected because of an endangered snail species that resides there. I kind of forgot to take photos for most of it but here are a few I grabbed at the end. Sorry they aren't particularly interesting. The butterfly is cool though, right?Read more

Cows

We zipped back into town for some ice cream at COWS. Not only do they have great ice cream, but their merchandise is hilarious. I didn't get photos of their stuff because of social distancing... we had to get out of the way quickly.... but go look at their merch on their website.

The sun took a long time to reach the horizon, and then was gone in what felt like seconds. The views around us were spectacular, but the camera does not do them justice.

We took it easy this morning and relaxed at the airbnb, but now we are out and ready to roam the streets Canmore! We even stopped at the Olde Tyme Candy Shoppe briefly to snoop at the unique treats.
