Murano has housed the local glass making industry since all of Venice's glass makers were forced to move there in 1291. This museum is on that island.

Most of the non-walking options in and around Venice are on the water. There are vaporettos, sort of the local "bus", taxis and of course gondolas. There are also many private boats in all shapes and Czytaj więcej
