RejsendeTasmania is our favourite place and visit it regularly even though we are from Sydney. I hope you have time to see north west especially the Tarkine wilderness. Table Cape near Wynyard has an annual show of Tulips around November. Don’t miss it if you’re near there. If yo want to see platypus in the wild, visit Mole Creek Hotel near the town of Deloraine. At dusk the platypus comes out in the creek at the back of the hotel. The owners are very friendly and came from Germany. My husband and I are travelling in Japan at the moment. Very beautiful but so different from Australia in many ways. Bon voyage, Linda from Sydney 😀

RejsendeDeloraine is a very pretty town. If you like table tennis, a local group plays on Wednesday night. You get to meet the locals. There is a beautiful raspberry farm with a great cafe at Christmas Hill. The road from Deloraine to Mole Creek is a beautiful scenic drive with a salmon farm, wynyard, truffle farms. At Chudleigh, a tiny village before Mole Creek, there is a famous Honey store called Melitus honey store. Our little house is the blue house just outside of the village up the hill towards Mole Creek. Enjoy as it’s one of the most beautiful places on Earth 😀😀
