Venice Arrival

Our arrival to Venice with the delays in the US pushed back our arrival by about an hour, which was fine. We figured we couldn’t check into the hotel yet and we were planning to drop off our bags and enjoy the city a bit.

As Venice Marco Polo Airport is on the mainland we had to take a water taxi to get to the island which took about an hour. It was clear pretty early that Venice is a different city than you are used to.Read more
