Palazzo Ducale

Palazzo Ducale, also known as Doge’s Palace, was the seat of power of the former Republic of Venice. We were not expecting to visit until tomorrow but with as surprisingly uncrowded as Venice was today we decided to give it a try. It worked out well as it was not too crowded and we had no wait to get in. The palace area was very intricate and beautiful and also we got to see the dungeons and the inside of the infamous Bridge of Sighs.Meer informatie
