Egypt Exhibition

We were a bit exhausted by the time we made it to the exhibit from all of the walking. When we made our purchase she let us know that the items in the exhibit were not originals but replicas. They all looked incredibly well crafted and representative of the period they were from. As we were about to enter the exhibit she told us to go through the next room and the up the very long looking set of stairs and we both felt ourselves die a little bit on the inside as we looked up that staircase. Later it also had a little VR station where you could look inside a representation of one of the tombs. After as we were about to leave the room DJ wondered where his glasses were. They were just tight enough to the VR headset that they got stuck and stayed inside. We had a laugh. Overall though it was a nice break after we recovered from the long climb.Read more
