Gondola Ride

One of DJ’s only requests for Venice was a romantic gondola ride. I had read that Ponte San Marco was a good starting point and while it took us a bit to find a gondolier it was worth it. We had to pay cash and the gondolas have a nonnegotiable rate of 90€ for a thirty minute ride. That was more than I had on me so we had to scramble to get money out of an ATM. We had quiet canals and a nice section of the Grand Canal to pass through. We also had a good laugh on the trip watching a gondolier with at least six or more people crammed into their boat definitely making him work for that ride. As we exited I noticed his tattoo which seemed like a sign from somewhere.Baca lagi
