Brunelleschi’s Dome

We booked the dome climb first thing in the morning - 8:15. It’s been hot already in Florence and it’s a 463 step climb. To say it was exhausting is an understatement. Those views though!

The climb was organized well with very little crossing paths with people going in opposite directions which was nice. We were near a nice family from Canada whose kids were already eager to climb the bell tower’s 400+ steps as well. I think we’ll pass on that one for now.

It would’ve been nice to have more time to admire the inside of the dome as you climbed but they kept people moving which makes sense because of the climb.Leer más
