New Orleans part 2

Trip the the downtown area went well! Busy and sunny and noisy (and a bit smelly apparently). We took the shuttle from camp which was a tour all on its own. Greg, son of the former owners, has been here since 1995 and knows how to fit a lot of information into a small amount of time 🤣
Then we went for a walk in the French quarter and settled into a couple of bar stools at Cafe Beignet for brunch (and some beignets of course!). Live music, tiny tables and chairs, street noise and great food was experienced. A short stroll to our hop on hop off bus stop and we were on our way. It was a feast for the eyes and ears. Met some nice people, had some laughs, close traffic calls and enjoyed the sunshine from the top deck of the open air bus. As the loop was coming to an end, we both decided we’d like to do it one more time! A new announcer and a few detours had us on a different tour altogether learning new things and meeting new people.
