GR131 day11: Aguas Verdes to Betancuria

GR131 - 11th Stage of the Canary Islands Crossing (4th in Fuerteventura):
Today I went from Aquas Verdes over the mountains to Betancuria. Apart from the ranger, I only encountered people at the viewpoint: the Mirador de Guise y Ayose (detailed description under photo).
Betancuria was once the capital of the Canary Islands...today a small, spruced-up tourist town with five restaurants (all of which only serve drinks after 5 p.m.) and souvenir shops....Busy during the day, Betancuria falls into a deep sleep after 6 p.m., and there isn't even a supermarket in the former capital...Read more
