VIKING SHIP BUILDING

What do you know about Viking ships? I've learned a lot... here's a quick summary: It requires 4 main components: wood (oak and pine), resin for waterproofing, 4,000 hand-forged iron nails, sheep's wool for the sail... all hand-woven and hand-sewn (10x10 meters!!)... more info in the videos😀. I was swimming in the lake and the Viking man was inspecting the pier and the water where the ship will be launched in a few weeks... I spoke to him and learned that just 100 meters away, the Viking ship is being built by volunteers for 8 years... ...I had to see it. ...that's how I ended up here😀 The Viking ship will be launched on August 30st 2025, and there will be a huge celebration... if you happen to be in the Sundvollen area, you shouldn't miss it...
