Geirangerfjord

The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most famous fjords and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 14, 2005. From the village of Geiranger, you can take a boat to Skagehola and hike the steep path up to Skageflå, the most famous farm. From there, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the fjord and its numerous waterfalls. The most famous is the "Seven Sisters" waterfall. Since the fjord was completely in shadow during my visit, this hike wasn't really worth it, so I climbed Vinsåshornet. From here, I saw Geiranger and the fjord up close, from above...see next post

Der Geirangerfjord ist eine der bekanntesten Fjorde Norwegens und gehört seit dem 14. Juli 2005 zum UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe.

Vom Dorf Geiranger aus kann man mit dem Boot nach Skagehola fahren und den steilen Pfad nach Skageflå hinaufwandern , dem berühmtesten Bauernhof. Von dort aus bietet sich Ihnen ein atemberaubender Blick auf den Fjord und seine zahlreichen Wasserfälle. Der bekannteste ist der Wasserfall „ Die Sieben Schwestern“ .
