It wasn't until 6:00 p.m. that there was a brief break in the rain, and I set off...with a 1.5-hour climb, a short break, and then a descent, I should be able to make it by 10:00/10:15 p.m., and maybe only get a little rain on the last stretch...So let's go👣

The starting point is the parking lot at the beautiful beach 'Grotlesanden'...there are no signposts, but the path is easy to recognize...first, it's a steep climb, you traverse above the waterfall (good stepping stones are available), then there's a long plateau with some very muddy and swampy sections (be sure to bring high hiking boots and poles), then another uphill section along the narrow path (some good stone footholds)...and finally another plateau...suddenly, you see the hut above...seven sea eagles circled above me as I made the final ascent over the grassy slope to the hut...enjoyed the sunset here, rested and refreshed...then again 1.5 hours downhill.

The hut was unfortunately closed because the floor was being repainted...luckily, there were sheltered seating areas on two sides that protected me from the wind. And actually, the rain only caught me for the last 10 minutes at the very bottom... So it was worth setting out...😀👍💯

Erst um 18.00 Uhr gab es ein kleines Regenloch und ich startete...bei einem Aufstieg von 1,5 Stunden, kurze Pause und wieder Abstieg sollt ich das bis 22.00/22.15 schaffen und ev. nur beim letzten Stück etwas Regen erwischen...Also los geht's👣

Ausgangspunkt ist der Parkplatz bei dem wunderschönen Strand
'Grotlesanden' ....ed gibt keine Wegweiser aber man erkennt den Pfad gut...erst gehts steil Bergauf, man quert oberhalb vom Wasserfall ( gute Trittsteine vorhanden), dann kommt eine lange Hochebene mit teilweise sehr matschigen sumpfigen Passagen ( unbedingt hohe Bergschuhe und Stöcke mitnehmen), dann nochmal Bergauf entlang des schmalen Pfads ( teilweise gute Stein-Tritte)...und zum Schluss nochmal eine Hochebene...auf einmal sieht man oben die Hütte....bei mir kreisten 7 Seeadler über mir als ich den letzten Anstieg über den Grashang zur Hütte ging...Sonnenuntergang hier genossen, Rast und Stärkung....dann wieder 1,5 Std bergab.

Die Hütte war leider geschlossen weil der Boden neu gestrichen wurde...glücklicherweise gab es an 2 Seiten überdachte geschützte Sitzmöglichkeit, die vor dem Wind schützen.

Und tatsächlich hat mich der Regen nur ganz unten die letzten 10 min. Erwischt...
