Storhornet on Godøya

On the island of GODØYA off Ålesund lies the beautiful STORHORNET❤️. A hike with magnificent views of the Atlantic and back to Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. 🏔🏞

Before that, I visit the lighthouse at the end of the village of Alnes, with its attached café that invites you to linger.

The starting point of the tour is just after the tunnel outside the village of Alnes, where there is a large parking lot.
First, you climb stone steps up to the first level where you can see the lake 🏞....On the way to the summit, you pass the Johan Skytt rock (like a small Trolltunga), which juts out over the edge...then you continue to the summit with a magnificent 360° view.
