We arrived late yesterday at London Heathrow airport. Caught a few hours of sleep at the Radisson Blu hotel. Just waiting to pick up our car, and then we will be off on our adventure.

It looks absolutely amazing. You would be loving seeing the country side that Georgette Heyer used as the backdrop to so many of her novels. Tommy, that was a spectacular piece of cake you were about to eat 🍰. Annabelle, you are looking very beautiful. I think you would be a perfect princess in one of the castles ❤️❤️❤️

When we first got to Windsor we had to find some food. So that means we had to walk and walk. After breakfast we discovered a church with old graves including a famous knight. Next we were walkingもっと詳しく
旅行者Annabelle, I would have loved the walking and walking and more walking 🚶, but I would have been a bit impatient with having to wait… 🥹 Mushka hates standing in line. It sounds as though you are having a wonderful time. It would have been super interesting seeing the old graves - they are so much older than the graves in Australia. You and Tommy will have to have a competition to see what the oldest grave is that you can find, Daddy looks comfortable waiting for his lunch. ❤️💕❤️

The Roman Baths

Today we visited the Roman Baths. It was a fascinating ancient Roman site.
旅行者In ancient Roman times, it was a sacred bathing house. The pools are feed from hot mineral springs beneath the ground. It was a full complex with ancient Roman versions of saunas, spas, etc. The site has been excavated and partially reconstructed.
