Joy rushed off to the laundry to get some stuff washed, then went up to a lookout to watch the sunset on Uluru and then see the thousands of lights come on.
Wine Canapes and the Rock

We were taken out a lookout and served wine and canapes while the sun set over the Rock. I go a few pics of our fellow travellers as well.

Got up early to be at the lookout to watch the sunrise. Met Joy for breakfast at 7:10am. Now on our way to Kata Tjuta.

They brought the tablecloth out for morning tea this time. Anne and Chris (driver) have shared their passion for the outback with us and have made the tour very informative and enjoyable.

Went for a walk about 850m along the base of Uluru. Our driver has been certified/qualified to tell part of the dreamtime stories of the area.

After lunch we went around the base of Uluru to the Kantju Gorge. This where the most spectacular waterfall occurs when it rains. We also heard about the story of the origins of the physicalBaca lagi

We have returned from our trip to s nearby sand dune we were served drinks and canapes to watch the sunset over Ulutu and Kata Tjuta and then escorted to our tables for a 3 course buffet dinner. WeBaca lagi

Up at at 6:15am, bags packed ready for pickup at 7am. Breakfast, then on the bus by 7:45. Morning tea at Curtain Springs. A very enlightening talk on how they manage their Murray Angus stock.

Simpsons Gap

It was short walk in to the Gap, but the last part was very rocky underfoot. It has permanent water and attracts a lot of wildlife.
Quest Alice Springs

On arrival at Alice Springs we had a little drive the town and then up to the ANZAC Hill. It has a 360 degree view of the area.
