Joy rushed off to the laundry to get some stuff washed, then went up to a lookout to watch the sunset on Uluru and then see the thousands of lights come on.

We were taken out a lookout and served wine and canapes while the sun set over the Rock. I go a few pics of our fellow travellers as well.

They brought the tablecloth out for morning tea this time. Anne and Chris (driver) have shared their passion for the outback with us and have made the tour very informative and enjoyable.

Went for a walk about 850m along the base of Uluru. Our driver has been certified/qualified to tell part of the dreamtime stories of the area.

It was short walk in to the Gap, but the last part was very rocky underfoot. It has permanent water and attracts a lot of wildlife.

On arrival at Alice Springs we had a little drive the town and then up to the ANZAC Hill. It has a 360 degree view of the area.
