We had a quick thunderstorm at 3am. But all was well by morning. I got the kayak on the water twice, lots of walking and enjoying the views.

Interesting little park. But fantastic rv sites. Road into the campsite is barely two way , hilly and curvy. But we made it and I love it. My kayak is sitting waiting to go made again

Actually all went well. Took Cici for a hike of about 4 miles, ate a nice dinner and paddled on a mirror of a lake.

My Memorial day hang out. Really nice . The water is actually the Alabama River. It is large with many inlets. Plus there are nice areas to walk and bike.

Heard a lot of thunder today but no rain. Opted to stay off the water though. Neighbors just dropped off dessert. A really nice surprise. Banana pudding and pecan pie.
