Caught up on laundry and trailer cleaning.
Today went to check out where balloon festival would be and walked Cici. Found a dog park about a 20 minute walk from the trailer.

Took Amtrak to Fresno. Really nice way to get here. Waiting for first of three flights.

Did hop on and off tour. Did walk along Ness river from one stop. And now lunch at loch Ness. Had to have a beer from Loch Ness brewery. Did not find Nessy. But great views and water sounds.

Did 6 miles and then took shuttle to hotel. Walked around Granton and waited for rooms to be ready. Next we headed to The Cairn distillery. Nice tour and tasting of 12 and 25 year old Scotch Whiskey.Meer informatie

Made it to end of 9 mile hike . I am worn out, luckily van transport to tonight's hotel. Scenery and views were tremendous but some areas were scary hard.

Stop two of today. A whiskey tasting in an old rail station. There was a group out front setting up to practice water rescues in the Spey river.
Plus we were "piped in" by bagpipes.

Only 6 miles today after castle visit and whiskey tasting. Off to dinner and evening discussion. This is a great group. The red phone box is now an honor box along the hike. Full of snacks and drinks.

Started in 1897. Cool malting facility with leather driven pulleys. No longer used. Too bad

Made it to end of Speyside trail. Beautiful 5 miles but opted not to walk last 5. I am respecting my abilities.
