Kartchner Caverns State Park

Yesterday we hiked 3.5 miles at the SP. It was the girls highest 4500’ and most elevation gain 455’ over the 3.5 miles. There were several water breaks and “splooting” in any shade to be found. Minnie panted her way through, Pearl takes it in stride. Expansive desert and Mountain View’s. Lots of Century and Ocotillo cacti. Several Centuries fallen over.
Then went to see Bob Marley One Love- a good man and the World needs more.
Today low key , cleaning, laundry, shopping. We’ve said we could easily winter here.
Dinner at the Angry German tonight was excellent. Only sad part was Nick & Debbie Segina, fellow Renegaders, didn’t get to join us due to a personal family emergency. Tomorrow off to Las Cruces.Read more
