Crail Golfing Society "Craighead"

Craighead is both the name of the course and area. Designed by Gil Hanes, difficult track, but if you play it a few times you can score. Long par 3's including #17 with a crazy green; I was over the green, (in photo) with a crazy tough shot coming back. Fun course to play, we liked it a lot. We finished the round in 3:32 minutes and as we were putting our clubs in the car it started to rain. We went downtown to the Golf Hotel & Bar, walked in and had 50 eyes on us (would appear they've not seen an out of towner in years), one and done. On the way back to St Andrews we stopped at KingsBarn...we went to the resturant and they asked us what group we were with, I told them we were meeting a group on the course. The hostess asked for the name (holding the tee sheet) and I went with Kevin O'Neal. She could not find a Kevin O'Neal so I replied "well he's on the course" she agreed to seat us.
