Even though it costs a few bucks in Texas to enter the state parks, it's worth it, they're beautiful

Huntsville State Park was a half hour drive from the resort. Gorgeous hike.

Also, we were not quite done with our
Christmas celebrations as we booked a couple seats at the Houston Alley Theatre to see "A Christmas Carol" (as a musical). It was a good production and a fun evening out but not our favorite play.
