Cabo San Lucas

Mexican driving is nuts. We were going up the highway and hear our guide Dionicio start getting worked up and putting on the breaks hard. We are all looking up as this old green car turns right in front of us and basically stops. Dionicio swerves left but can avoid him and we hit the other car. The air bags in that car go off and we can see this little viejito there who seems ok.

Everyone in the van is ok but shaken. One woman’s safe driving app on her phone pinged to see if she had been in an accident! Yep!

The viejito - and his walker! Come around the car and look in at us. Clearly this dude should not be driving. We pull off to the side and they talk and then Dionicio gets back in the car and says the guy didn’t want to deal with police and stuff. So off we go!Read more
