Salem and evening walk in downtown Boston
NYC day one/travel day

Boston to NYC
NYC day 2

In which I went to my first American football game, then explored the Chelsea area of the city
NYC day 3

Statue of Liberty/Ellis island, and many tourist sites
NYC day 4

More sites around New York, and a walk across Brooklyn Bridge (from the Brooklyn side as recommended by a New Yorker ‘so you can actually see Manhattan!’)
NYC day 5

Last day in New York before catching the bus to Philadelphia. A solo trip to the 9/11 museum, and HAMILTON ON BROADWAY 😱
Philadelphia day 1

Exploring the first capital city of the USA
Philadelphia day 2

In which we walked many miles around the city
Philadelphia day 3/Travel day

We had nothing planned for this day, apart from our train to Washington. And then I badly sprained my ankle, smashed my phone, and missed the train 👍
Washington DC day 1

Our actions were limited due to my ankle, but we managed the African American museum, and a very slow walk to the Lincoln memorial
DC day 2

Lotta lotta sightseeing
The lost day/DC day 3

A very last minute change of plans meant staying in DC but a nice evening on a rooftop and some banging Mexican food!
Mount Vernon/DC day 4

A trip to the Virginian countryside to visit George Washington’s home on the river Potomac
DC day 5

With unexpected more time in DC, it meant we could visit museums we didn’t originally get chance!
DC day 6/Leaving 🇺🇸

A quick explore of the Botanical gardens before our flight. I’ve realised these are mostly fruit/vegetables plants
