Good experience on the train system - 2 hour train delay then once finally on the thing it stopped at a random station and announced it had been terminated so had to find a new one 😒

Today's venue was very very small. The one we were playing in felt more like a youth centre. Not really a stage and unfortunately the ticketsale was also not the best..

The weather was really lovely and everyday we have all the time we need for soundcheck, so it was a chilled day. We went for a walk in the park here and I showered 2 times. One time after dinner and again after show, just because I could and it felt amazing. What a good shower can do for a human is amazing.

We ordered pizza with a side of salad and tiramisu. The tiramisu was amazing, so I hope to get an extra small bite from the leftovers we took in the bus.

The show was very nice also. Better than I expected. The audience was with few, but the ones who came really enjoyed it and it didn't feel like a strange gig at all. And otherwise we got another practice round in hahah.

Now I'm laying in my bunk, some are also already in bed, and a few are still chilling in the lounge areas. Let's hope for a smooth ride tonight and I hope to get a lot of hours sleep. I'm positive about it ✨️✨️Leia mais

After the Porsche Museum, we took the train a few stops down to Hohen Park. We stopped at a quaint little restaurant in the park where they served Greek food and played American Blues music. So cool! We talked at length to the owner and a couple of German patrons. We were able to leave them witnessing tracts in German, and they gladly accepted them.
After lunch, we walked to a tower on a high hill and got to see a beautiful panorama of the city. The tower is constructed of cables and is built to sway in the wind. It was a windy day so I took a video of the swaying. It challenged my fear of open heights...but I survived and didn't even get dizzy.
We then made the decision to walk the 3.5 km to the city center where we were meeting a former colleague for dinner. He and his wife moved to Stuttgart 2 years ago. It was great to see them and learn about their lives in Germany.
The 3.5 km walk was eclectic...it took us through some beautiful parks with wonderful architecture and some sketchy neighborhoods. Fun fact: Germany has rats in their garbage, too!Leia mais

Been cold here - didn't get above freezing until yesterday. Two days ago I walked around town some more along the skinny roads they have here. Came across an old building with 1592 painted on the outside. Seems it's one of the oldest buildings in town. According to a plaque outside, it used to be the town hall of Sindelfingen and was built in 1478! The building now houses the town museum. Yesterday I decided to take a drive about an hour away and buy an authentic German Cuckoo Clock. A few more days and I'll be headed back home.Leia mais

We saw kj for the first time in ages hopping off the train, so exciting, we missed her ❤️. It was freezing tho and we soon learnt to layer heaps ❄️. Then we spent the day wandering the town with our personal tour guide who knew nothing about the history so we ended up teaching her from mums YouTube knowledge. Keyala was useful ordering though, our personal translator. We tried gluhwein (India can drink!), curry wurst and various other foods while walking around day 2 🍷🌭. We also explored the tubingen museum, looking at the miniature portraits and planning our own collection of massive portraits to make our home a manor 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒. We also saw a shadow animation exhibition which was really interesting. We had dinner with keyalas host family. They were lovely it was nice seeing where she’s been living 🏠. We had a German dinner, called Maultaschen, with them. Delish! We will be adding it to our menu.Leia mais

Wer uns kennt weiss, dass wir uns oft den Vorsatz nehmen frühzeitig alles zu packen. Aber wie es halt so ist, gibt es kurz vor den Ferien noch Wichtigeres zu tun. Und dieses Mal ist es nicht anders 😅. Somit sind dann die Velotaschen bis am Morgen der Abreise noch leer 🙃. Daher werden also am Samstag in Windeseile noch alle acht Taschen gepackt und die Velos auf das Auto verfrachtet. Zum Glück wissen wir schon sehr genau, was man für eine Velotour braucht und darum sitzen wir dann auch um 11 Uhr alle im Auto und fahren los in Richtung Neckartal.

In Nürtingen angekommen nehmen wir einen Schwum im Hotelpool (Nino gibt Vollgas und lernt innerhalb einer guten Stunde zu schwimmen bzw. sich über Wasser zu halten 🤩🐟🐠🐡). Anschliessend geniessen wir ein feines zNacht. Dann geht es ab ins Bett den morgen startet unser erster Velotag auf dem Neckartal-Radweg.Leia mais

Today we are back in Stuttgart for Belgium v Ukraine. We are sitting in the Ukrainian end.

We stopped off at Rotemburg, a medieval town which is very popular. It's walls have been renovated to look like original.
