This was probably my only mistake of the day having managed the heat well so far. I crossed under the bridges to this park only to discover it has absolutely zero trees or shade. X marks the spot! This historic square where Dallas was founded was also the location of JFK's assassination in 1963. The exact location where he was hit by the bullets are marked in the road. The penultimate image here shows where Lee Harvey Oswald fired from and the final photo is taken from where the only footage of the event was filmed. Von den bisherigen Roadtrips durch die USA war das eigentlich der am wenigsten schöne. Selbst abseits der Hauptroute hat Texas wenig zu bieten. Und uns ist richtig bewusst geworden das wir keine Großstadtkinder sind. Interessant und sehenswert war’s trotzdem, aber ich denke das nächste Mal haben uns die Canyons und Nationalparks wieder. I am flying Qatar Airways and there is free wifi on the plane.

I connected in Doha. This is a huge airport with a metro line running inside the airport building, see picture. There is women restricted relaxing area. You can read the Coran online on the plane beside movies and serie.

When will we see a metro line running at BER. maybe it's a dream.
