Ginza—a beautiful district where luxury reigns and price tags intimidate. Last time, we enjoyed a traditional Kabuki theater show, but this visit was all about Itoya, a 13-floor stationery paradise boasting over 1,250 types of pens.
From $1 basics to $3,000 CAD collector’s pieces (one even had its own spotlight like a museum artifact), Itoya had it all. I picked up a few pens—because how could I not?—but honestly, I’m more of a Dollarama girly at heart. Unless that $500 pen starts writing my emails and solving my life problems, I’m not sold.
While I was deep in pen heaven, Justin went off to browse watches that, in his words, he was “too poor to even look at.” At least window shopping is free—so far.
