USA from Montana to LA 2019

We started early since Kalispell is an hour drive to the West entrance of Glacier National Park.
We drove the going to the sun Road. A scenic drive with a lot of possibilities to take small hikes.

We stopped several times but the best place was the lake near St. MARY. We stopped and did a 20 minutes hike to the lake and we stayed there for nearly two hours. A breathtaking view and landscape. Nearly one Kilometer before the park end we finally saw a bear direct next to the street. An awesome final for this day especially to our son.
After that we had a 3 hours drive to Great Falls where we stay for one night.

Wir sind frueh gestartet, da es vom Hotel noch immer eine Stunde bis zum Park Eingang war. Wir sind die going to the sun road gefahren. Eine wunderschöne Strecke mit vielen Möglichkeiten kleine kurze Abstecher zu machen. Wir haben oft gestoppt aber der mit Abstand schönste Ort war der See naehe St. MARY. WIR HABEN EINE KURZE Wanderung dort hin gemacht um dort fuer fast 2 Stunden zu bleiben. Eine atemberaubende Aussicht und Landschaft. Als wir dann Richtung Usgange gefahren sind haben wir dann doch tatsächlich noch einen Baer am Straßenrand entdeckt. Eine tolle Erfahrung, vor allem fuer unseren Sohn.
Danach hatten wir noch 3 Stunden zu Fahren mit nach Great Falls, wo wir fuer 1 Nacht bleiben.En savoir plus
