We even drove by the Disney Castle on the way. We did get off the autobahn but there was a long line of cars on the road to the castle so we just got right back on the autobahn.

And no, I did not take advantage of the no speed limit on the autobahn. We undid not want to arrive too early at our Airbnb, so we stuck to 100 kph. There were a few cars that passed us as if we were standing still.

The Alps here are beautiful, and the Austrian valleys were picturesque.Weiterlesen

ReisenderHe meant KPH but it SEEMED like miles per hour. Actually believe it or not, there now appears to be speed limits on the autobahn ranging mostly between 110-130. So those speeders were probably only going 160 kph or so. Or maybe more. They are VERY impatient, especially the Mercedes.
