We thought it was taking a long time to get down in the elevator. While waiting to reascend, we watched as the elevator descended to 700 feet below the surface. I felt like I needed scuba gear!

Richard Clarke I have always wanted to see those caverns. Will you stand by until I can get out there? I don't want to go in alone. Betty Lou wouldn't have gone in under any conditions.
Traveler The signs said it started as limestone reefs laid down by tiny sea animals, which then developed cracks which filled with water.
