we stay here in the apartment 🏘️ of my brother and sister in law and there is a reason why they chose this spot. my brother is an enthusiastic kiter 🪂 and here he can kite whenever there is wind, no matter from which direction. on one side mar menor 🌊 is in 150m distance and on the other side in 150m distance you can find the mediterranean sea 🌊 - perfect for kiting.
today was best kiting 🪂 wind 🌬️ so we picked a beer 🍻 and watched the kiter ❤️.Read more

Travelergenau, als adrenalinjunkie war ich noch nie unterwegs, wandern, radfahren, yoga und tauchen finde ich besser. aber zugucken tu ich gern und setze mich hinten auf den buggy meines bruders drauf. mit bungee jumping kannste mir auch weg bleiben, ich find das leben auch so spannend genug 🤪

today we found an abandoned golf lounge - for sure we went in... 🤪. it was only slightly more spooky than the urbanización campo de golf 😂.

i know this restaurant from last time, my brother and sister in law brought me here. i love ❤️ it. the waiters are so nice & funny - they definitely try to give their very best. in addition they offer great paella. *this* is the place to go out for dinner or lunch if you are around. the view is stunning and it's not far away from the marina of cartagena.
this time we tried something called tomate con bonito - green tomatoes with smoked tuna and capers - yummy! they have two paellas we took paella de marisco (for sure we also ordered boqueron frito 🤪) aaaaaand i found a desert which is typical for murcia: pan calatrava 😍 ohm nom nom. so in short the information is: go there if you are around and do not forget to make a reservation (!) upfront.Read more

today we hiked a bit in the footsteps of mining... we found a lot of wells and wondered what they are for... so i did some research: due to the wealth of the poderoso vein, the richest vein in silver in the sierra minera, mining right here began around 1840, of which you can still see the mining wells and the remains of an ore wash (in other parts of the sierra minera the romans already started mining). the striking yellow tones of the earth where the discarded material has accumulated are mainly due to jarosite, a mineral formed from the oxidation of pyrite, iron flour.
it was a nice sunday tour with a stunning view and amazing colors... a bit short but extendable in direction south - 1,5 hours, 250m in altitude and 6km.Read more

this is one of my favorite beaches ⛱️ and definitely my favorite trail 🚶. so we went there for a second time but this time we enjoyed more time at the beach and did not make a round but went there along the coast and back along the coast. if i would live here i would do this hike at least once a week ❤️❤️❤️.Read more

when we drove along the beach road today we saw a lot of kiter, stopped by and found a kiting school. since there was a wonderful wind today a lot of „kite students“ joined the kiting school. so we sat down at the beach and watched the try and error party. the water here is very shallow and the bay quite save - perfect conditions for learning. it's very interesting to watch people how they learn and they learn veeeeeery different. fortunately you can distinguish them pretty well by their kite and i remembered when i had a kite in my hands for the first time and i don't want to remember when i broke one 😜.Read more
