Some days it can be really hard to find the strength to get going, other days start out with incredible highs. Today was definitely the former of the two, and until 10am I was certain that I'd make today a rest day. But I'm glad I didn't, the smallest thing can change your outlook. Walking down into Seaton I met two women, both about 50-60, one was called Carol and the other, whose name I've sadly forgotten, said she had decided to walk this path after her husband had passed away last year and they always planned to walk it together after reading the book 'the salt path'. So without any training whatsoever and having never walked before here she was, trekking all this way in memory of her husband. They were also just very nice people and took the time to listen about my story of walking the path too. I hope they reach the end alright!Læs mere
