Blackpool

I know I've been walking north, but don't worry, I've ended up at the better Blackpool. There were plenty of little settlements along the way: Beesands, Torcross and Strete, but none of them particularly noteworthy enough to smack down a footprint. Torcross to Strete involved walking a large part alongside Slapton Ley, which is supposedly the largest natural lake in the West country. Also supposedly from the nearby beaches is where much of the practice for D-Day took place. But ngl I'm just trying not to sizzle, it is seriously hard work in this weather; I'm now sheltered in a pretty nice café inhaling some chips.Read more
