As soon as I waved off my parents, I met a really wholesome local elderly couple waiting for the ferry who were going off to get drunk in Kingswear. The other side of the ferry even they then waved me off! The path from there took plenty of ups and downs I'd describe as 'fun' but maybe they just caught me in a good mood. I met a real lad called Kieran hiking the whole path in the other direction and we sat on a bench and spoke for a good while. Then I dashed around Berry Head and I've arrived late in Brixham, which so far seems alright, definitely less horrible than Plymouth.Läs mer
