It's been quite a weird day. Other than a guy in the pub talking to me (who clearly had some problems and kept doing the creepy madeye moody lick of the lips), I've not actually met anyone all day. It involved lots of urban walking yet the wooded section between Torquay and Teignmouth was completely abandoned as it was both difficult and not particularly pretty. It's quite telling that you end up most alone when there are the most people around you. Beyond Teignmouth I just went into mission mode though and I've actually made crazy ground. I've now reached the most Western stretch of the Jurassic coastline and I'm only about 115 miles short of Poole.
