I got us an 8:30 res at Dorsetia.

The path to Lyme weaved and undulated through a thick rainforest-like undercliff microclimate, as birdsong rained from above. It was a pleasant change of terrain and a relief to be under tree cover during what continues to be a very hot day. The first of my coast path steps in my home county brought me into a car park, and after a little explore of Lyme Regis, and a rather large explore of a box of ice creams, I fell asleep for a while in the shade.
