Podgorica Airport

We think Podgorica gets some unfair hatred from tourists. Don't get us wrong, there's absolutely nothing to do there and the place does have something of a festering rubbish smell, but it's not Belgrade bad.

The journey to the airport was an interesting one; there are no buses that really come here and the train only runs every 3 hours or so; the station doesn't even have a platform, and even that is a good 20 minute walk from the airport itself. Personally, our train was delayed by half an hour seemingly as the driver just fancied a smoke break. But other than that, we have successfully arrived, and checked in at the capital's tiny airport.
