An epic cobbled path runs between Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren, with train tracks on one side below the red cliffs and the sea on the other. A really fun part of the walk. A fella just shook my handLeggi altro
ViaggiatoreIn bad storms this section of the railway quite often gets destroyed/ trains can’t run because of waves! Been stuck a few times because of it lol. Very pretty though. The sand dunes at dawlish used to be big too!!
Viaggiatoredoes make me why the hell they decided to build it like that then, just trying to encourage passengers out of the trains and onto the pretty coast path next to them!
ViaggiatoreAh I did wonder if u would walk there, lucky the tides isn't that high or rough. This stretch of rail has been rebuilt. I rode in that stretch few yrs ago, stunning views. 😍 Vy well done JJ 👏👏

The change in terrain is very apparent this morning, as the coast now resembles a very Dorset-y nature. Fewer but much larger and steeper ups and downs with large cliffs between little settlements

ViaggiatorePaignton is rather grubby. The prettiest bits imo are definitely broadsands and elberry. The rest is groccle territory, should be avoided at all costs
