    The weather, as we slowly entered the harbor at sunrise, was beautiful. We docked right in the city again and headed out in search of the real reason for this cruise- CHOCOLATE! Took the ferry over to the little port city of Devonport and found Jim’s favorite New Zealand Chocolate shop. He’s like a migrating bird. He just remembers every turn to get back to this tiny place off the beaten path.
    Then a quick stroll down the shopping streets and back on the ferry to get back for lunch.
    We found some fish and chips in the wharf and I found an amazing local IPA! Then we took our 10,000 step feet back to the cabin to nap. Jim has had the flu and slept for 3 days so this was a lot for him but he did great. We love Auckland. People are wonderful and the city is clean and very alive.    Læs mere
