"What a beautiful smile you have! ' he said as I was passing by, looking for my espresso freddo. The kindness and naughtiness made me slow down even though I normally brush it off, comments like this... But this was an 80-year-old man... And I remembered what I read in my book about coincidences... And People we meet. And I stopped. To find out what can we give each other... What can we learn from each other... And I set down with him for a cup of coffee... Oh, I met a Teacher 🙏. His life story... From difficult childhood, to running away to work on ships, falling in love with an American tourist, moving to USA, involving with mafia, going to prison for 16 days, running away from mafia to Las Vegas... Dealing cards for 30 years... Divorcing... Living with 2 women... Getting back to Greece... To enjoy watching the life go by, the sea moving... He talked about forgiveness, about growing, about pilling the onions of one's soul, about connection to nature, about the beauty of women, about feminine side of our nature... And about the beauty of my smile 🥰 being too old to hold the good thoughts locked in... Unspoken, unshared. The kindness in him was glowing all over his face... And when I shared... It made him cry. Thank you Peter, you made this trip unforgettably special.
