    Amazing collection of artifacts dating as far back as 40O0 BC. The museum is state of the art and houses an impressive collection. Definitely worth the entry fee. The front of the building is a neoclassical mansion and it connects with a neighboring building from the interior. The collection focuses primarily on artifacts found in the Cycladic islands. There is also a floor devoted to artifacts from the island of Cyprus.Read more

    The main mansion exhibition space is reserved for travelling exhibitions. The neighboring building is divided into 6 floors. Top two levels house a private gallery and an auditorium, which were not open to the public. The first floor houses Cycladic art. The second floor houses ancient Greek art. The third houses Cypriot art dating back from 4000BC. The fourth floor features artifacts sealing with daily life in antiquity.Read more

    Left Athens about an hour ago on our way to Delphi. It's my first organizes guided tour, but so far so good. We drove through agricultural areas of Attiki, and learned several interesting facts about Greece's industry and exports. Such as, Greece is the only European country that grows cotton, and its largest industries are shipping, tourism, and agriculture -in that order. 45 minutes to go!Read more

    Arahova is a beautiful mountain village on Mount Parnassus, a short distance from the Delphi archeological sight. It uses traditional architectural elements, such as red ceramic roofs and stone walls. The village is largely used during the winter months, as there is sking on the neighby mountain. 10 minutes until we reach Delphi!Read more
