Absolutely stunning village in the eastern Black Forest. The inner city is full of medieval half-timbered houses and there were a couple of excellent museums too. An unexpected highlight was the Czytaj więcej

Visited the Pilsner Urquell brewery, which was fascinating. Amazed that they only stopped using an ice house to cool the cellars in the 1980s! Unfiltered, unpasteurised beer was a revelation, really Czytaj więcej

Beautiful castle perched on top of a cliff overlooking the spectacular old town. All the campsites are shut (too early in the season) so ended up staying in the car park of a tennis centre.

Camped at a lovely spot by a river - cycled out to the lake today after a trip to Lidl this morning. Amazingly, they had Valley Spire cheddar cheese! Lee made omelettes, baked beans and roast new Czytaj więcej
