Sun Moon Lake ● Taiwan

Sun-Moon-Lake is considered one of the biggest tourist attractions in Taiwan.

Sun-Moon-Lake is Taiwan`s largest lake.
It lies an altitude of 760 meters on the western slopes of Taiwan`s Central Mountains.
The starting point for a hike is the town of Shuishe or Ita Thao

It can be reached from Taichung by bus in about 1.5 hours.

Accommodation is available in hostels in Ita Thao or Shuishe

The main aktivity here is a bike tour around the lake.

The route is about 30 km long and quite hilly.

Therefore, it's best to rent an e-bike, around € 17 per day.
