Most of the series, Game of Thrones, was filmed in Northern Ireland at Banbridge. It was actually quite amazing to understand the amount of elaborate planning went into costumes, sets, etc.

Went in to check the new museum with Michelle and Dessie. Honestly the best part was a slide show of old photographs, many back in the 70's and 80's when I lived here.

O'Hare Airport

Ernestine, the "famous" brachiosaurus skeleton replica at O'Hare Airport is still there welcoming passengers out of the tunnel. It's got a Blackhawks shirt on at the moment.
